REVIEW

The first book I read by Ruth Ware. The story is set in a beautiful and remote place in Scotland. It was chilling and thrilling. I enjoyed it until the last page. Others found it boring but I found it unpredictable. I almost DNF it because I thought it was leading to an element that I was not really fond of — supernatural. It was also good that the consequence of the entire plot was made as a prologue and it became effective in enticing my curiosity and became eager to figure out why the female protagonist ended up where she was.

It’s just horrendous that pure actions sometimes could lead to more sinister endings.
