I liked how all sorts of thrillers were collated in this book. The first 30% of the book got me hooked and as I went through it, I felt it was a little drawn out. I appreciate books and plots that were presented as if they have all the time in the world and don’t end drastically, but this book’s middle part was dragging. There were parts that I felt were unnecessary and unbelievable.

But that’s why they’re fiction: I know, but it’s really unrealistic to the point I started to doubt my existence and everything around me is not healthy, LOL!

Will I read another book by McAllister? YES! Will I recommend this book? Yes, if you have a long attention span and if you don’t care about the excessive jumping of timelines. No, if you like fast-paced thrillers and don’t like dreading anti-climactic plots.
